1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BreweryFinder.ca (the "Site") or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your province or territory) to use BreweryFinder.ca. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate and current information when registering
• You may not create accounts for others without their permission
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

By submitting reviews, ratings, photos, comments, or any other content ("User Content") to the Site, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content on the Site
• Represent that you own or have the rights to the content you submit
• Represent that the content is accurate, honest, and based on your genuine experience

You may not submit User Content that is false, defamatory, harassing, obscene, illegal, or infringes on any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our discretion.

5. Brewery Listings & Claims

Brewery listings on BreweryFinder.ca are provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee the completeness or timeliness of information.

Brewery Owners: By claiming a listing, you warrant that you are an authorized representative of that brewery. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your listing up-to-date. False claims are grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to the brewery.

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or modify any listing that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe contains inaccurate information.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or information
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or brewery owners
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data without permission
• Post spam, commercial solicitations, or unsolicited promotional content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
• Claim a brewery listing you do not have authority to represent

7. Advertising

BreweryFinder.ca displays third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of these ads or the websites they link to. Advertising relationships do not influence our brewery listings, ratings, or editorial content.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (excluding User Content and brewery-provided information) — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of BreweryFinder.ca and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Information about breweries (hours, menu, amenities) is user-generated and may not be current — always verify directly with the brewery before visiting.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BreweryFinder.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on information found on the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
